    Complete noob question

My work uses a program that stores personal information (name, dob, address) in a SQL database. We then have to hand right most of that information on about 5 different forms. It's tedious and redundant. I would like to create a program to pull the information from the database and populate the forms. I figure this will good motivation to learn. I've been reading up on SQL. Is Microsoft Access the best program to accomplish what I need? Are there any other programs I need to learn? Thank you for the help.

Access would certainly be a viable tool for the job. It can link to SQL Server or various other data source. It's the tool I would use, from the sound of it.

Thanks for the reply. I started watching tutorials and playing around. So far so good.
