From which query is the report generated

    Hello,

I have an access database which my friend created.

It has a report which i think comes from a query. Is there anyway to find out from which query this report is generated ?

For example in report design view can i find the source of the data ?

    Any help would be great

    thanks

    Yes.
Open the report in design view, open the properties panel, click on the Data tab and look at the RecordSource.

Look at the property sheet for the report on the data tab. There is a RecordSource property.

thank you all for the help.

The report prompts for a district when i run it (i think this is called a parameter). Usually when u specify a parameter in a query the report which uses the query will also inherit it.

My friend has added the parameterin in the filter field of the data tab in property sheet that u guys mentioned - first time i've seen that
