    The ampersand sign (&) and Access reports

    Hi Everyone,

    If you type the ampersand sign (&) in a label in an access report, it will come up as a blank. Is there any way to make the ampersand sign show on the report?? It is part of our company name and it looks weird if we use the word "and" instead of "&".

    Thanks!

    Use a double ampersand, which then shows up as a single ampersand. So if you put--

    Smith && Sons, Inc.

    --in the label, when you run the report it shows as--

    Smith & Sons, Inc.

    By itself, the ampersand in a label or command button caption is used to define an access key ("hot key") that's referenced by the character following the ampersand.
