    Exporting/Linking to PowerPoint and Word

    I have a few reports and Pivot Charts that I need to export in one of several ways - either into an HTML email as the body - as a Word doc as a PowerPoint presentation or out onto SharePoint.....

    I have done as much research as I can online for this but it doesn't seem like it would be a simple fix to get it into word or PP

    Does anyone have some input?!

    Not at all simple, if at all.

    Just a heads up here - Microsoft has removed Pivot Charts/Tables from Access 2013.
    How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    I am doing it easily by exporting the graph as a .pdf or as a .jpg. Then going into my PPT template and running an import macro that grabs the object and inserts it.

    ' ActiveWindow.Selection.SlideRange.Shapes.AddOLEObj ect(Left:=54, Top:=110, Width:=157, Height:=118, FileName:="cic.jpg", Link:=msoFalse).Select'

    one button push in Access to create the graphs then a second button push in PPT to suck them in.

    WHAT?!!! That is crazy! what will they put in to replace it? are they going to at least let cross tab queries alone?

    Yes, exporting as an image file is easy. Didn't think that was what the OP was after but certainly a viable option.

    Yes, crosstab query still there.
