Repost: Dates shifting between access and linked excel table

I posted yesterday and somebody suggested I post a file demonstrating the problem, so here it is.

In the excel table, you've got a list of dates in 2013 and 2014. The access file links to the database, but all of the dates are shifted to 2008 and 2009. I really don't get it.

I'm using Excel and Access 2007, on a Windows 7 machine. Any assitance will be appreciated. I'm certain this'll be an easy fix, I just haven't touched access in several years and it's not coming to me.

I actually found the problem, and failed to note it when descibring the issue, as it didn't occur to me.

I created the workbook on a Macintosh, which apparently uses a 1904 date system rather than a 1900 date system. Excel can translate it without issue (it's a preference you can set by workbook), but Access treats all of the numbers as if they're on the 1900 date system.

Found it here. I shiould have mentioned the Mac variable, but everything worked fine up until I linked to Access, at which point the problem became apparent and I'd though it was an issue between Excel and Access...
