How do I Link front end to new linked table in backend

    Hello All,
I have a database split into backend/frontend. Recently, I have put an excel-linked table in the backend.

I can't see how to access the linked table data from the front end. I have looked at the linked table manager in the front end, but no success. Can anybody tell me how to do it?
    Many thanks,
    Mattbro

You would link directly to the Excel file in the front end.

That sounds.....odd. Don't I want all tables linked to the backend? Users have their own frontend-If I link it to a front end, all users would have to replace their frontends with the my modified version.....

What if I were to create a new access file, incorporate the linked spreadsheet and create a new split?

Think about it this way; the Excel file is a different back end. The front end links directly to each, not chained via one of them.
