Moving old access DB data to a new access DB

The simple, one table database our small company has used to work leads has issues in terms of accepting new fields and integrating them into Forms. New DB's I've created which manage similar data work fine.

I'm thinking that transferring data into a "fresh" database will get me past this problem and moving forward.

How can I most easily take the old data to populate a new database? (There is only one table). "Copy and paste" isn't seeming practical.

Keep it simple please, I'm a newbie in Access.

    tnx

Make Table Query, i.e. copy table to new database

The easy way is to use a make table query.create a new query and choose make table at the top of your menu. See attached pic.

I don't see your problem but *importing* into a new db should be the easiest. http://www.btabdevelopment.com/ts/impnew

Thanks - sounds right as an approach. By any chance do you have that kind of tutorial for Access 2010? The older one refers only to importing into ".mdb" files, and I can't see how to do anything except in an ".accdb" file. I can slug it out with some trial and error in the different 2010 interface structure if I have a clue it can be successful.

    Thankyou.

That tutorial is from Bob Larson, not me. What problem are you trying to solve? I'm a little fuzzy on that.

The real problem I am trying to solve is for a way to enter multiple items at a time with their own price for each item onto a purchase order form. Right now the Beta db works but only entering one item at a time. So I created a listbox to try and solve this issue. I see no answers to this problem. Maybe it can't be done!

The line items should be on a SubForm. You can then add as manyn lines as you like.
