ORDER BY clause works in Query, but not in Report

I have a Report that uses a query as it's record source. I have the query ordered by a field, which works as expected in the table view of the query. In the report, however, the ORDER BY clause does not seem to carry through. The field is not sorted Ascending.

    What's going on?

    Ahhhh, thanks.

I assumed the sort would go through from the query.

Is there any way to allow the user to define the sort field??

    Another option to consider.
If you want give people the ability to sort the data, you could export the query to an Excel file, where they can play around with it any way they like.
