Can I have an input variable in a field formula

I would like to be able to use an input variable in a formula I have created for a field in my query.

It would be helpful if everytime I ran a report off of the Query it would ask for the input.

    Thanks

If you put something in the query that Access does not understand, it will ask you for the value. Depending on your query it could ask for the value for *each* record which could drive you nuts.
