    HTML Controls on Popup Form

    Hi, all!

I have a table with a memo field set to Rich Text.

I have a form containing that field, set to Rich Text. The form, which is opened with a button from another form, opens as a pop-up.

If I paste text in it, the memo box preserves the formatting of the text -- but I then can't change it. For example, if I paste 8 pt green TNR text, I can't change it to 12 point Calibri black with a bullet list.

How do I get those rich text controls in there?

    Thanks so much!

Well, good grief, it certainly does!

I was trying to use the buttons on the ribbon -- and I was looking for buttons similar to those on this forum -- and neither existed. Then your link talked about the 'mini toolbar when text is selected,' so I tried it again -- it took just long enough for that to come up when I selected text that, when I didn't know to expect it, I didn't think it existed!

I googled, etc., and all it required was about 2 more seconds of waiting with selected text!

    Thanks so much!

It's very strange -- sometimes the mini bar comes up, sometimes it doesn't. If you CTRL-A, it doesn't, and it only comes up 50/50 if you select text. Sometimes I have to select the text several times and in different directions (bottom > top vs. top > bottom) before it appears.

Just a heads-up to anyone else who might use this post!

    Quick question, if anyone knows:

When I paste into a Rich Text Memo Field, it pastes as TNR 12, regardless of the originating font. On my form, the Details > Font Name/Sinze is "Calibri (Detail)" 11. I'd like it to paste as "Calibri (Detail)." I've tried removing the "(Detail)" to see if that made a difference, but it didn't.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks so much!
