How To Change Upper Case Letters to Lower Case?

I have a few fields in a database in which ALL of the characters/letters are in upper case. Years ago someone here told me how I can change the letters (except the 1st letters) to lower case. Can anyone give me some guidance?

    Thanks!

Interesting, I tested this function in a query and it worked. I used the same syntax you show. I am testing in Access 2007.

Since I can't replicate the issue, would have to examine your db. If you want to provide, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

I don't get an invalid syntax error, I get circular reference error. Change the alias name to something else, not the name of the source field. The query works.
