Access database closes with error report each time I update

My Access database keeps shutting down on me everytime I add a new record or
make an update. Gives an MS error msg saying that it "encountered error and
needs to close" then options of send/don't send report". I sent the report in

to find out if there were updates that I needed to install, and after doing
that (installing Office updates), I am still encountering problem.

    Please help!

Your db may have become corrupted. I would try a compact & repair (under Tools|Database Utilities in the menu). If that does not work, try creating a new db, and one by one export the objects in your current db to the new db.

    Good luck!
