Have you looked at all of the templates yet? Those that ship with Access as well as tons of them on line at MS Office. It is a good place to start and I'll bet you can find something that is close that can then be modified tou your needs.

I have looked at the templates, and have tried changing them to fit, just need to amalgamate 3 into one...(contacts, students, call tracker) Perhaps if anyone knows where I could get more theory on tables? weather more tables are better? I see allot surrounding purchasing, assets customers etc. I need to track people their info so the relationship is the client and us tracking medication call in times, personal movement (signing out of centre) waiting list for entry into program, anyway thanks again please any direction would be great!

Your applications is unique enough that it will take some effort on your part before anything off the shelf will do everything you want. As for tables, start looking up Normalization. Google should give you a ton of sources.

Second thought I have created multiple tables, personal,Legal, medical, address, treatment and admissions, and created a common field beyond the initial Id (auto number) it is Client_ID (number) each client gets his own number at admission, how does one link them as so if I fill in personal name and items it creates record on all Tables even if fields require no answer? so all record lines are linked per entry? they will later be give a file number, to many numbers?
    hope that makes sense?
