    Question Sequential autonumber primary key

Whenever I make a new record I want the Primary Key (which is an autonumber and is called 'Call Number') to increase sequentially with no gaps; so that Call Number 1 will be the very first form filled in, then Call number 2, then 3 and so on. Is there a way to do this?
    Thank you.
    Jack.

    --EDIT--

I have come up with an alternative, there is no need to post a solution but thank you all the same
If anyone is interested, my alternative was: Instead of calling the field 'Call Number' and having it be the 1st call then the 2nd etc, I named it 'Call ID' and set the AutoNumber to random. Ironically this way was more organized.
