    Calculations on reports

    Hi all

I am trying to add a text box to count the amount of fields in a column on my Report that say Fail, the code i thought it was :

    =count([Pass]="Fail")

Where [pass] is the field name and "fail" is the value that i wish to count, it just seems to count all fields that have any value in it, its been a while since i had to do this but i cant get it to work right.

    Any help apprieciated

    Mac

    Try

    =Sum(IIf([Pass]="Fail", 1, 0))

Glad you got it sorted out. Presumably you had it in the page footer.
