    search a subform field from a Search tab on the main form

    i have 1 main form (USER) and 3 subform ( ASSET, INVOICE, LO) which related together.. i need to create search button in a main form that only can search ASSET_ID... it means find the record through subform.. how can i do that? can anyone pls help me.. thank you

    Since the subform records are limited to those that are related to the current USER, those are the only ASSET_IDs that can be searched for and displayed. Can't you already see all the related ASSET_ID records on the subform?

    what i need is to create a search form.. currently, i already have a textbox with a listbox. user enter the assetid and the listbox highlight the related record. i wish i could display the record when user double click from the listbox.. how can i do that?
