    Want to update a column A if column B = column C

Ok so I have a quick question, here is a hypothetical set of data

    A B C
    X 3 3
    2 4
    X 8 8
    X 7 7
    1 4

Basically I want column "A" (where the Xs are) to be X only if B=C. I have an update query with column A as the "Field" and the "Update To: X" but I don't know how to properly state the Criteria "IIF B=C"

    Any ideas? TIA

    Try

    UPDATE TableName
    SET FieldA = "X"
    WHERE FieldB = FieldC

That's the SQL of a query. You'd obviously need to change all the names to yours.
