Tables and “all data query” ID problem

I am upgrading a data base for an existing manufacturing process:

The requirement: To change and manipulate large amounts of data at once using the “all data query” the dynamic of the manufacturing process requires this at times.

Current data base: 500 sku’s (part#’s ID’s), no tables, just the data query that allows print/see all the fields of one part # in one pre-made template.

    New data base (upgrade):
Will use 10 tables related in the “all data query” when the “all data query” is called in the fields that belong to the tables I see only the “ID’s” of these values and not the values that belongs to this particular cell.

Questions: how would be possible to modify these values from the “all data query” or how could be can be modified all at once without use the drop down-menus created from these tables? The problem is that if these menus are used to modify values have to be one by one and the requirements is to change 1 column at once that will affect all the parts #’s selected. For data management is also a problem.

Thanks you very much for any advice

What I don't seem to grasp it the comment "no tables, just the data query that allows print/see all the fields of one part # in one pre-made template."

There must be source data somewhere? where is the data now?

I Think you will find that if you design your main data table you will find that certain fields are using comboboxes as links to other tables. This is frowned upon by many users. What you need to do is to simple hold the FK in the main data table and set up relationships to child table PK's and said FK's.
