    Compressing mdb file

The mdb file is automatically compressed when the mdb file is closed. How to make the file size even more smaller? Can we add in some function in the VBA code for archive purpose?

Are you having a problem with the size of your db? Is your application split to FrontEnd and BackEnd? You can have more than one BackEnd if you like.

Jeff Conrad has a great Ad-In that helps examine/document a db.

    Hi,

How the CSD tool would help minimizing the MDB file size?

It just allows you to examine various objects within the db for size. Are you storing ole objects or Image files in your db?
