Looking to knock off some rust

I'm new to this forum, so I thought I'd say hello.

I used to do some work in Access, but not since Access 97. So when I first looked at Access 2007 I went into shock. Nothing is the same as it used to be, I opened up one of my old databases from 2000 and I'm not sure where to start. It looks as if there will be a steep learning curve trying to become proficient again in Access. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I should start to re-acclimate myself? Access 2007 looks nothing like Access 97. I'm sure the tables are still the same as are the relationships, but what happened to the switchboard? I feel lost trying to understand what Bil Gates did to the program I was familiar with. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.
