Creating a Login Screen on Form, How to check is Password matches Username

Hello, im trying to create a simple login page. i have a table with two columns (username, and password). On my form, i have a combo box. the combobox shows a drop down of all the usernames i have from that table. Then, i have a textbox where users can enter a password. if the password does not match what is it in the table for the specified username, a msgbox will appear, otherwise open new form. how do i write this in vb? thanks

If you're going to use a combo, you might as well include the password field in the row source (hidden) and test against that.

Use the column widths property of the combo to hide it. The test would be:

    If Me.PasswordTextbox = Me.ComboName.Column(1) Then
