    Combobox Search Changing Unit #'s

I have a combobox in a form that I use for searches. When I input a particular unit number, all the data associated with that unit will populate the form. The box is unbound but recently it's been changing my unit numbers to seemingly random numbers. Would anyone happen to know the problem/solution to this?

    I appreciate all input.

    Cheers,

    Alec

If both of the above statements are accurate, the Combobox has apparently become Corrupted.

We usually think of Forms and even entire Databases becoming Corrupted, but Controls can and do, as well!

The test of this theory is to delete your Combobox and create a new one.

Thanks Linq! Always such a great help! Just curious though, how do such corruptions occur? Cheers!

Corruption is generally caused by the Access Gnomes becoming bored with life in Redmond, Washington, or sometimes they overhear you making a disparaging remark about the app!

Seriously, Allen Browne has an excellent article on the subject, giving some steps to take to help avoid corruption as well as steps to take to recovery from it:
