    Database Update

I have distributed a database I created for workers to use. Each have entered their own data and made their own reports using the same Forms, queries, and tables. (just different data)

If I have updated the database and added in new features and what not, is there a way that I can send out an update to my workers so they can update their database while retaining their data?

I am just wondering if this is possible. If it requires an advanced knowledge of Access, then I may have to scratch the idea.

    Thanks

If you split their databases into separate Front-End and Back-Ends, then yes. Typcially, the Back-End database just holds all the data, and all the Queries, Forms, Reports, macros, VBA, etc are found in the Front-end. So if you did this, you would just need to distribute a new Front-End database each time.

Depending on where the Back-End database is stored, you may need to refresh their links each time (to ensure it is looking in the correct place). If everyone's back-end is stored in the same place with the same name on their hard-drives, then you may not need to do that.
