How can I do change group membership of an user

    Hi there,

I have to change a group membership of one user in an multi user access database. As I see its no possibility to change it in the backend (in X.ldb file) nor in frontend.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The ldb (laccdb for 2007/2010) is not the 'backend'. It is a temporary file created by Access to manage database locking.

Is this multi-user db a split design? A split design has tables in one Access mdb/accdb file and all other objects in another mdb/accdb file. The backend would be on a shared drive. The frontend could be copied to each user's computer so code executes faster.

What is 'group membership'? I suspect there is a Users table in the backend that has this info.
