Access 2003 "Link Text Wizard" bug

Hi, on a certain XP computer I'm linking a csv file as a table. At the "Field Option" box it won't allow me to change field names. It is stuck on the first field. I can click on each fields and it highlights but it won't change. I re-installed office with no change.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What happens if you click on the advanced button? With a CSV file, you have some flexibility here. However, I must admit that I have never linked a CSV file before, only imported.

Edit: Just tested with XP Windows and AC2003. Linked a CSV file and was able to highlight as expected. Could not recreate your issue.

Alan thanks for the tip. I was able to change the Data type on the field through the Advanced section. And it looks like that will work! I should know more soon.
