Multi-line text box - can't get it to work in Access 2003

    Hello everyone,

I'm using Access 2003. I'm trying to set up a multi-line text box on a form where the user must have control over where the line breaks occur. I've set the "Enter key behavior" parameter to "New Line in Field". However, after keying the first line and pressing the Enter key, Access is treating it as a completion of the entry and tabbing to the next control. I've also tried using Shift + Enter and Ctrl + Enter, but with the same result.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing? Thanks for any help!

I an using A2003 on XP Pro
With the "Enter key behavior" set to "Default" : Ctrl + Enter works for me
With the "Enter key behavior" set to "New Line in Field" : Just enter works for me.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Mystery solved - I realised I had a bit of VBA code behind the control that was interfering with the behaviour.
    Thanks for your response anyway.
