Hi all, I'm running an enormous query (60+ fields involved) with a PostgreSQL backend. In the database I inherited (which was strictly Access), the query was completely updateable and I had no problems. In the new database, I set up the relationships exactly the same way, and the query worked for a while. However, I changed some columns in one of the underlying tables and now the query is read-only. I changed the query to reflect the changes, made sure there were primary keys in the query, etc. but nothing works. I read this (http://allenbrowne.com/ser-61.html) and the only clue I have is that it involves the relationships/cascade update. I understand that enabling cascading updates would most likely solve my problem, but they are disabled because I'm running a PostgreSQL backend. Does anyone have a fix or at least a hack-ish workaround? I appreciate any help.
