Arrow How to prevent window view/scroll bar from moving upon minimizing subform?

    Hey guys,

Having a bit of a problem that I'm going to try my best to explain..

I've created a form using a split form view. The header of the form displays various user options and the details section displays a datasheet with 20+ columns of data.

In addition, I am using a subform so that users can expand and enter notes.

The problem I'm having is that a user might be viewing column 15, click on the + sign to expand the subform, enter notes, and then once they try to close the subform... they are brought back to column 1.

In other words, I want to make it so that whenever a user expands/closes a subform, their screen always remains in the same view and does not scroll or move to any other cell or window location.

Are you really using a subform or just a subdatasheet? Want to provide project for analysis? Follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Double checked. I am using a subform/subreport. I'll try to see if I can create a copy.. DB has become somewhat huge and a lot of confidential info to purge!

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
