Using a Grid in a Report

I want to do a report to show post inspections performed at a glance. I've attached what I'd like for it to ultimately look like. It would look at the date of the entered inspections and the locations then shade the appropriate box. I don't know if this could be done with a query or an unbound calculation or if it could even be done at all. Any thoughts?

It can be done, but not easily. Horizontal (left to right) display of records is tricky, especially when dates are involved, they can be so dynamic. Stabilizing the output so reports can be perpetual requires advanced and creative techniques, often with VBA code.

Once you get the report structured, can use conditional formatting on the textboxes to set backcolor based on value in the textbox.

I think I'll pass then. It would not be appreciated enough for the effort. Thank you.
