Cannot Delete a Record "# Deleted" in ALl Fields

I have an autonumber field that says "3491" but when I sort on that field it sorts as "3474." This means that a form that uses this field to bring in data through a relationship is the wrong field. I have tried to unsuccessfully delete the entire record. It asks if I am sure I want to delete the record and I say "yes" but the record remains and now all of the fields say "#deleted" and I cannot open any queries that sort using this field. (I get the error "No Record".) I have tried to fix this with "repair database."

How can I delete this obviously corrupted record?

Have you already run JetComp on the db? How big is the db? Could you zip it and post it?

Excellent! That's what I like to hear. Are you ready to use the Solved thread toll yet?
