I noticed my backups are alot smaller in size than my working file, I've had to revert back to a back up once in a while by moving the current file and renaming my backup. Is this the correct way to use a back up and am I loosing and data with the smaller file? Everything seems to be there and working just fine.

What is the size difference after you do a Compact and Repair?

I did a compact and repair on an old version and the size change is very close to what I see when I back up, looks like when you back up it does this automatically?

That would be my guess which is why I asked the question. I don't have ac03 so I have not used that function.

Looks like all will be ok, just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to loose anything.
