    Multiple Users

    All
I have completed a database which will be placed on a server with a dozen or so users.
In the event that 2 people access it at the same time and both try to create a new record... how does it cope with this?
Ideally I would like only one person using it at one time to prevent conflicts or duplicate records??
    cheers

Although an all-in-one db can function with multiple users (I have one small project like that), most advanced developers will recommend splitting the db.

How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
