Unhappy Security Risk posed by Powered by Microsoft Office Access

Does anyone know how to hide the Powered by Microsoft Office Access icon on the status bar as this is posing a security risk, basically the Access ADP is hosted on a remote server that users have very restricted access to. It has been found that by clicking on this you can access IE and from there open Notepad and eventually you escape the DMZ and potentially create havoc on the server. I am talking about fully licensed copies of Access and not just the runtime.

Does anybody know how to get rid of this security problem?

I have never noticed the icon you describe and don't have Access 2007 here.
It is possible to code the project so that the Access frame doesn't even show.

I could quite easily do this but this not what i am after, nor what i asked. I use the progress bar several time during imports/exports etc. And don't want the status bar "flipping" between displaying and hidden. had i wanted this i would done this or phrased my question in line with something like "How to hide the status bar in Access". So does anyone know how to hide the "Powered by Microsoft Office Access" and NOT how to hide the status bar/frame or anything else other than the "Powered by Microsoft Office Access" button on the status bar.

I have looked at both A2007 and A2010 and don't see the icon you describe. Would you like to provide an image?

I offered the frameless app suggestion because it is quite possibly the only way to hide the icon and until I can replicate the situation can't offer anything else.

I googled 'powered by microsoft access message' and found http://www.utteraccess.com/forum/RT-...-t1938249.html

Guess reason I've never seen that icon/message is that I've never built a run-time project.

Thanks, but I knew this already. I don't need to understand why this is being displayed but how to remove this potentially dangerous security risk. If you don't know then that's fair enough, thank's for your help anyway.

The discussion in that referenced thread essentially leads to the conclusion it's 'all or none'. That the only way to not show that icon is to not show the bar and that no programmatic solution is possible. I trust Albert Kallal's assessment on that.
