Error : MS Jet databse engine does not recognize..... as a valid field name or expres

I am trying to chart the results of a query very unsuccessfully and needed some help.

Firstly, I am trying to get the top 10 customers for certain part numbers during a 4 year period and then chart the same.

    1. I created a make table query firstly to get the the customers for the period and part numbers.
    2. I then went to compare the part numbers in newly created table vs part number in "master table" using the in select statement to find the top 10 customers for a part number getting the gross sales in descending order.
    3. Now my problem is when I try to chart the results of the query, I get an error message as stated above in the subject line - "MS Jet Database engine does not recognize the [Part table (master)].[Part Number] as a valid field name or expression.
    4. I am just unable to proceed and cant find any errors with my queries. I also went ahead and manually check my answer against my table and found that the query results were in fact correct. I am not sure how to proceed and could do with some help
