    database problem

    Hi everybody,
    I prepared a basic database with access 2007 for children's and parent' datas.But I have a small problem.I choose parent's birthday in parents information menu but it throws tha same birthday below.My file is bigger than 2 mb.So if somebody wants to help me I can send the file with e-mail.Thanks

    How big is your db after you Compact and Repair? Then how big is it if you Zip it up? It should then be small enough to post here. You should be aware that your description of the problem does not make too much sense. Maybe when you post the db you can describe the issue again using different words. Are you in Turkey somewhere?

    I atteched the file.You must try to open the file with access 2007.In leftside menu double click "Öğrenci Ayrıntıları", choose "Veli Bilgileri" in top menu, choose an option in "Yakınlık Derecesi" and then enter birth day you will see the same birth day below.Tanks for help.so I' live in Turkey correct...

    You should really consider eliminating all of your Lookup Fields in the tables. All they do is confuse the programmer. It is fine to have ComboBoxes on your forms that do the same thing. Having them in the table just hides what is really in the field.
