Unwanted grey combo box fields on form

    Hi,

Has anyone experienced a combo field on a form turning grey unwanted?
This happens only to some of my combo boxes, not to all.
When I click on the field, the background becomes white and the dropdown appears (so it's not disabled),
and when I click on the next combo box, the previous field becomes grey again.

I've checked all combo box parameters and they are all the same
I've checked all my VBA code behind the form, and there is no code which enables or disables the field, or any code which treats these combo boxes different than the other ones that always stay white.

I can't really paste my database. It's proprietary and would need a lot of re-work.

Anyone got any ideas of what I should be checking?

    Thanks,

    Walter

    My initial thought:

Is your background grey? If so (I know you said you checked the parameters and they are all the same, but I feel the need to double check because when I look for issues after a while I cant see the wood for the trees) is the background set to transparent.

Otherwise it might be worth putting a screenshot up, include the form as a whole, the properties for a problem box with each tab shown separately, and then finally a copy of your vb.
