advantage of foreign key in query

    Hi,

I learnt foreign key is useful to join two tables but as far as I know I can join two tables using inner, left, right join query without any foreign key. Is there any special advantage of foreign key?

You can join tables on fields other than the pk/fk fields but for data entry of related records the linking must be done on the pk/fk fields in the Relationships builder and/or in form/subform arrangements.
