    Open form on specific record

    Hey guys,

First of all I'd like to say what a wonderful forum this is and has helped me alot. It's my first post so go easy on me. I have a problem on access.

Basically, I have a employee table and what I've done so far is created a edit button using the wizard, now I have used the query which i have created and created a parameter, so when entered brings up the query of that employee ID. Parameter value 'box' would ask 'Please enter the employee ID'. and it should show this particular ID, but I want it in a form.

Now the problem is that it opens up the query table and not the form. I have created a form just for the edit button which has the details on the employee but I'd like to be specific and put in a parameter value.

If you don't understand what I mean, then let me know and I'll try and explain better.

I changed your thread title to be more meaningful to future users than "Hi guys I'm New". Is this what you're looking for (instead of the parameter in the query):
