    Issues Web Database in Sharepoint

I created a Issues Web Database in Sharepoint 2010 as a sub site to track issues and assign to certain users, however it will not notify the users via email that they have the task. Is there a way to set it up to where it will automatically email the person who is assigned the issues via outlook?

No I wished it did but what I am looking for is how to setup either a workflow or alert for the Web Issues Database. The email is already configured on sharepoint. Thanks for trying.

Do you know of a way to create a macro to where it would email the user that is assigned the task? The issues database gave me a field to input the email address.

Don't know. I have not examined the template. I have also never used Sharepoint.
