Question Removing AutoFormat in a Form

In Access 2007, I was trying out what "AutoFormat" could do for my form. Unfortunately, it seems I am unable to remove the AutoFormat... I never noticed it as an issue in Access 2007 but when I loaded up the db in Access 2010, the form used a different theme.

Upon further inspection, I noticed in Access 2010 there is an option in a control's properties that says "Use Theme". Unfortunately, I cannot just mark it as "No" in Access 2010 because then it makes the .accdb to be un-openable in Access 2007.

Is there a way to remove the AutoFormat/Theme from a form in Access 2007? Or would I have to remake the form?

    Try applying the 'None' theme.

I tried doing as you suggested; even though it removes the theme in Access 2007 it seems to open with a theme in Access 2010. Not sure why...

My minimal experimentation with the AutoFormat wizard convinced me to avoid it, as I do most of the wizards.

Just for future reference, I had this same issue and resolved it by clicking on the background and then going to Properties. On the ALL tab remove IMAGE from the PICTURE field. Hope that helps!
