    one form fits all rights

    Hello

i've 3 groups with different rights on tables, but i only want one form for all of them

is it possible to know the rights of an user in a form

    somethings like this:

    foreach control
if user not allowed to edit field
    change backcolor to grey

so users wont have to click thru each field to hear: silent = "allowed to" or piep = "not allowed to"

    i' m new to basic...

    thanks!

    with regards
    the sugar

Are your rights applied with User Level Security?

    in more detail:
i have three tables A, B, C with an one to one relation
    and three groups:
user of group g1 can edit all of the tables,
user of group g2 can edit the tables B and C
user of group g3 can edit only c

i want one form for all group. this works, but the user can't see which part / fields they can edit...

My question was are you using the Access ULS or is this an Operating System function? I do not know what group level means.
