Entry is too long for Combo box

In Access 2007, I have a form with a combo box linked to a table. One of the items in that table is a name with 79 characters. When I select that name, Access tells me the name is too long. Is there a way to increase the size allowed on a text box?

What do you mean "linked to a table"? Is it a bound combobox? If yes, then the size is determined by the table design. It is better to use unbound comboboxes, use the Row Source property to display the list of names.
