Label and Textbox are being put on different pages

I have a report and I have a variable subform above so I cant just put in a page break because the size of the subreport changes. How do I keep my Label for my text box on the same page as my text box?

I did some googling and read about the group keep together, but that didnt seem to work.

    Any help is appreciated thanks.

Why are they separate? Label is not associated with textbox? Is the label in Header and textbox is in Detail?

The label is associated with the textbox and both are in the detail section. The text box is about 6 lines and the label is the header to that section.

Exactly which label and textbox are the issue? The report width is too wide for 8.5" paper and the overall length exceeds one page. Otherwise, the report displays fine. Print Preview errors on the Detail section format procedure. Why are you trying to set value of a bound control? Can't do that with a report.

I actually posted the wrong database, here is the blank one.

Although the one I posted has what I am finally going for, there is a sub report above the guarantee and change order information that will be different sizes for different bids so it will push the text boxes down, if the textbox goes to the next page and the header stays it looks sloppy.

    Suggestions:

    1. Move the label/textbox so the bottom of text box is above the 9.5" line.

    2. Move the label/textbox so the top of label is below the 9.5" line

Thats not going to work if there is a subform above the text box that will be different sizes for each record.

I never had to deal with this issue so don't really know how to fix. Would have to work with your project to explore possibilities.

I found a link to someone who had the same problem in 2001, there are a few suggestions but it doesnt look like they found an answer at that time.

I figured out a way to do it, its not pretty but it works for anyone who comes across this thread.
Add an option group, click cancel when it asks you what options you want, select the title and delete it, set border property to transparent. Then just put one around the items you want to stay together. In my case I had 3 textboxs that I wanted each to just stay with their label so I made 3 separate option groups.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
