How do I time out application to the logon screen

I want my application to time out to the logon screen if user is inactive for x number of minutes. That means if I am not using the application for a few minutes, my application goes back to the logon screen. User will then relogon to resume. However, the user is returned to exactly where he was before the inactivity. Anyone has any idea how this done?

    Thanks for your help.
