    Diary Planning Database?

I'm currently doing an I.T course in college, in which i was approached with a job opportunity in designing a database for a company (which for the best of interests i'm not going to mention)
I have a map and the part am to do is for the employees scheduling of time meetings, event days, shifts, etc.

I'm a bit stuck on where to start with the questions i'll need to ask. the only information i was told is that the company is moving from a paper based system and is looking for this part of the database to be done by a student at the college.

any help you can give me will be VERY much appreciated.

There are a lot of templates for A2K7 at:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...010142824.aspx

There is an A2K3 template for Resource scheduling database at:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...i:TC001000405|

Maybe you can get some ideas from these.

Get the current papers for scheduling, then, on paper, start writing down what fields you think you might need.
