    Access 2003 Averaging Question

I have a table with over 36,000 records in it (one (1) record taken every second for over 10 hours), and I want to take five (5) minute averages of the data. It has been a while since I have used Access, and am at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appriciated

    Thank you,

    swicklund

Every 5 minutes means groups of 300 records. If there is no field in table that provides a value that can be the criteria for this grouping, will have to create it. I doubt this can be accomplished with query alone. Expect will require VBA code to update a group ID field using looping structure and recordset. I presume there is a date/time field that can be relied on to properly sort the recordset.
