Lightbulb Convert date mm/dd/yyyy to January 1, 2009 format

    Hi,

I have created an access query and macro to export data into a word document. The date is formatted as mm/dd/yyyy in access and I would like to have it formatted in Word as a formal date - January 1, 2009. Is this possible?

You would use the Format() function.
    Format([YourDateField],"Long Date")
should do it. The output of this function is a string.
