    Security question


    Hi to all I wish to ask a question about security how can I secure my db so that no one can change or delete data, and can only have access to make queries thanks a lot

    Access has the capability to control "access" (no pun intended) to objects. Details of which are far beyond to scope of a response here.

    Check out "Access 2000 (or 2002) Developer's Handbook,
    Enterprise Edition (about $10 used on amazon). That and the "Desktop" edition are work their weight in gold for VBA solutions.

    It really depends on who you are protecting this from, a casual user or a skilled Access hacker.
