    how to comput in access for diff items

    i have access with application

    the application will show the result from the access

    i have electricalcable as database name

    the table called cabletest

    i have 17 cable under the cabletype column

    im my form i have combo box that will show the name of the cable

    under cabletype column

    i have





    how to do it if i have 17 different cables

    is there away that when the combo box show the name of the cable it will comput average ,max,min

    i do not know how to start it.

    do i have to do query for every cable ?

    thank you for your help.

    None of this looks easy. Probably involves TOP keyword in SELECT query. Also, calculations between records. Check this for info on both.
