how to disable the maximize, minimize button and help menu of ms access

    Hi to all !

I have my code to disable and enable the close button of ms access window, not the close button of its forms or reports. And it is working.

Now I would also want to know how to disable the maximize, minimize button and help menu of ms access.

    PS.

As I can see in the code, it has a constant variable of SC CLOSE=&HF060&.
I was thinking what constant to replace &HF060& to make it for maximize and minimize.

Each form has those properties on the Format tab of the property sheet. Is that what you wanted?

No RG. i dont mean for the Form nor Report. I mean for the main ms access window. I want to disable the maximize, minimize and help buttons of ms access windows.

Sorry Marianne but I don't know. How about googling around for a while and see if you can find something?

I didn't even realize it was still active. That affects one of my systems so I'll need to look into it.

thanks for giving me warning on the possibilities of that code. RG i know I can disable the F1 key to disable the help of ms Access through making my own autokeys macro. but is there any other way other than autokeys.

I also realize that I can disable it on keydown, setting the value to 0 but that is if there is an active form.

    Thank you!

I thank for your help but I don't see how I can get to VBA codes.
    Can you post another hint?

    Regards.

Very *old* thread. Try using ^G (ctrl G) from design view of a form.
